An Anglo Saxon Ladies Bronze Small Long Brooch.A very good quality Anglo Saxon ladies bronze small long brooch ( cloak brooch.) This item which dates to circa 6th century AD, is in wonderful allover condition. It shows a four slotted cruciform head plate and with strong mouldings to the body this is a lovely early brooch. A very small chip to the bottom of the foot plate as shown, which is rearly only mentioned for accuracy and does not detract from what is a lovely piece. As always the iron
