FeuerwehrFeuerwehr Berlin Rosenthaler Platz We discovered a rare and beautiful manhole cover in Rosenthaler platz. By the typography design we estimate that it's dating back to the 1940s. Its bold typography simply reads Feuerwehr Fire Department. A functional marker from another era, cast in heavy iron and carrying the traces of time. Technique This time we experimented by taking a silicone impression directly from the original manhole cover on the street.
